While here in Kansas City, we Landed the opportunity to work the renaissance festival in town at a gypsy both. We were given the option to pick out what ever outfit we wanted to wear as part of selling the attire and being apart of the time period. It was honestly a cool experience. Here are some of the photos we took on our venture through the town.
The Fairy Godmother. I told her how magical she looked and yet a bit miserable. She laughed and said " when the shade is good, so am I". She looked fantastic in her outfit and the Enchanted Forest set up was actually done really well. It felt etheral.
This little lady flute player was a doll. She definitely enjoyed the spirit of flute playing
She had such a peaceful vibe just sitting there and playing for all the people that passed by I had to stop and ask for a photo. She was delightful.
This guy was so into it I don't think he knew what year it actually was. When I saw him. I immediately thought of Jafar in disguise and sure enough, if you pull up the photos on line it's pretty spot on! He was a real blast of character.
We found this awesome bunny dragon that I had to get a snap of my princess with. It reminded us of Toothless. She had one of the greatest fur costumes that walked around . I just loved it so much I had to Thank her for going all out!! I just love this photo!!
The Basket lady. She was a hoot trying to balance the basket while eating cotton candy! It was cute to watch. She was lovely and totally enjoyed the photo taking popularity she attracted! Hats off Miss!
These guys were entertaining. They put a lot of character and energy into acting out the sword fights and engaging the crowd. I can't imagine how hot it must have been in those clothes but they sure didn't let that hinder them. Great show guys!!
Isabel got the opportunity to be a big girl and run around the whole place on her own and explore, take pictures and watch all the shows. She did Absolutely great! I love this little princess. We are exhausted but over all...happy girls. We have had a lot of stress but these moments are worth it.
